Foreign Legion Mounted Co on foot in sun helmets marching

Marching figures to accompany the mule-mounted figures of the Compagnies montées in sun helmets, FRC-4.

One Legionnaire rode his mule and another marched alongside. They switched every hour. NCOs had their own mules and officers rode horses.

This is the same white fatigue uniform worn by the Legion in Dahomey and Madagascar.
