About Askari Miniatures

Askari Miniatures is a manufacturer of 28mm miniatures for Colonial Period and World War II gaming.

Our lines are designed to include unusual or hard-to-find types for gaming the period approximately 1870-1945. We currently manufacture French, Italian, German, Russian, Spanish, Berber, Moroccan, Egyptian, Ethiopian, Turkish, and Central Asian figures for the earlier period and British, French, German, Italian, and Soviet figures for World War II. We also carry animals, artillery, personality figures and accessories.

Our website also includes painting guides, terrain building ideas, free rules, a blog and links to other gaming resources.

Goals

We provide gamers with more choice. We designed our lines to include unusual or hard to find types in addition to the standard types.

Our figures…

…are made in the highest quality metal alloy, designed to be hard but not brittle and to hold an incredible amount of detail. They require minimal cleanup: just prime and paint! They contain lead and so are not suitable for children under 14 years old.

A tremendous amount of research goes into every Askari miniature. We guarantee them to be not only detailed but also scrupulously accurate. In general, we portray our figures in campaign dress. we note variations in the catalog and with the pictures provided you should be able to see exactly what you’re getting.
