Askari Miniatures has expanded our selection of Chasseurs d’Afrique with three new sets.
The Chasseurs d’Afrique, along with the Spahis, were the mounted arm of the French Army of Africa.
In addition to North Africa, the Chasseurs fought in the Crimea, Mexico, the Franco-Prussian War and World War I. Our new Chasseurs d’Afrique wear a campaign uniform with a kepi that can be painted blue and red (as shown) or with white kepi covers. They are suitable for any campaign where the Chasseurs fought.
For dismounted troopers to match, use FR-15; for dismounted command, use FR-15a.
