We have tried to hit the 28mm (1/64) scale popular in Colonial figures. That’s about 25-26mm foot-to-eye, 28mm to the top of the head, around 30-32mm to the top of the headgear. With the constant growth of figures, some are calling this “True 28.” Size can vary a bit, as these are hand-sculpted.
Our horses are sculpted at 14 1/2 hands. The Arabians of our North African figures, the Akkhal Tekkes of Central Asia and the South American horses that the Germans bought for Southwest Africa all tended to be that size. The limber horses, being draft horses, are bigger.
