Description
Turcomen on foot. This figure wears the long coat, riding boots and fur cap typical of central Asia. Types like this would appear in Turrcomen armies or in the service of a number of khanates.
Four figures as shown
Inspired by Fig 53 (and others) in Ian Heath’s Foundry book Armies of the 19th Century: Central Asia and the Himalayan Kingdoms.
The Turcomen fought on horseback, but a few were without horses and some figures on foot are needed to guard the walls of Geok-Tepe!
NOTE: All figures are sold plain (not primed or painted) and without additional basing.
