Description
Don Cossack-style cossacks with cap and short tunic. These cossacks are holding the sashlik.
This style of uniform was worn in the Don, Ural, Siberian, and Orenburg cossack regiments during the conquest of Turkestan in the 1870s and the Russo-Turkish War of 1877.
Cossack units wearing this style of dress can be seen in World War I, the Revolution and Civil War and even into World War II. See the photo below for a figure painted in World War I khaki.
Set consists of six cossacks as shown.
These figures can be mixed and matched with RUC-1 and 2 to form your cossack units.
