Like most 3d printed figures, they do not have attached bases. Single figures fit our 7/8″ round bases well, or else you can use bases of your own choosing.

The Alpini were Italy’s elite mountain infantry, originally formed in 1872 to defend the country’s northern borders. By World War II, they had expanded into six divisions: Taurinense, Tridentina, Julia, Cuneense, Pusteria, and Alpi Graie.
During the war, the Alpini fought in multiple theaters, including the Balkans and the Eastern Front. They were heavily involved in anti-partisan operations in Yugoslavia and later deployed to the Soviet Union, where they endured brutal winter conditions during the Italian retreat from Stalingrad. Their resilience in extreme environments was legendary.
Their distinctive Cappello Alpino, adorned with a black crow’s feather, became a symbol of their identity, earning them the nickname “Le Penne Nere” (The Black Feathers).
The Alpini were uniformed and equipped as standard Italian infantry with additional mountaineering equipment as needed. These Alpini would be painted in standard Italian gray-green (grigio-verde) colors. One battalion, Battaglione Alpini “Uork Amba”, participated in the Italian invasion of British Somaliland in August 1940 and wore the khaki uniform.
