Description
The Carro Armato M13/40 was an Italian medium tank used from 1940 to 1943 in North Africa, the Balkans, and the Italian peninsula. The tank was produced in large numbers and was widely deployed by Italian forces during the war up to the September 1943 Armistice. It was the primary tank used by the Italians throughout the war. The design was influenced by the British Vickers 6-Ton and was based on the modified chassis of the earlier M11/39.
After September 1943, the remaining tanks were used by the German forces, Italian Fascists, and Yugoslav and Italian partisans.

This model comes in only three pieces: hull and tracks as one piece, turret and gun with mantlet as the other two. The hull is hollowed, so it is light but solid with no danger of un- or under-cured resin. It is 3D printed in an ABS-like resin, which means it is similar in its characteristics to what you get in a plastic kit–but without the cost and assembly.
Please Note: Models are supplied in gray resin, cleaned, unpainted and with external supports removed. Decals not included. There may be small supports or “nubs” remaining in places like the tracks. These are best removed with a sharp knife. No sanding or filing is necessary (or recommended)!
Some assembly may be required–usually only wheels or tracks. Superglue works great, especially for small parts and repairs. For wheels, I recommend a 5-minute epoxy, but superglue works here, too.
