At the Military history museum in Budapest yesterday and saw a real de Bange 80mm mountain gun on display. Took lots of pictures. It was labeled 1885, so it is the later model. Exciting to see the real thing!

We now have Hereros on foot, the opponents of the German Schutztruppe in the Herero War in German Southwest Africa. They are in a variety of styles of dress and carry captured German rifles and bandoliers.
