Three man Gatling crew, as shown: gun leader, gunner, and gunner bringing up an additional drum.
The Turkish Army acquired 200 Gatling guns from E. Paget Co. in Vienna. Some of these were apparently used at Plevna. The guns were organized in six-gun batteries. Some were also used by the Turkish Navy and in the later Balkan wars.
Our crewmen wear the 1876 artillery uniform, as documented at the Ottoman Uniforms web site.
The Gatling gun to use is our excellent Gatling Gun (A-9).
NOTE: All figures are sold plain (not primed or painted) and without additional basing.
