i was just revamping my Colonial French Army..and saw again those minis two very iconic Spahis..they are superb..not only they remind the ever favourite moovie that we all know..but they are exactly those Spahis belonging to the personal body guard of Gen. Lyautey as they appear in a pair of picts..standing close to the Comandant HQ tent…i imagine that the designer of Askari minis, like me really love French Colonial
