We thought we needed some Turks to go with our great Russians.
There are artillery, command figures and light infantry in the works as well. Shown is an artilleryman holding a shell. All the Turks are in the zouave-type uniform worn in 1877. These are great generic Turkish-type figures that could be used in a variety of scenarios throughout the Ottoman Empire in the late 19th century. Although I already like the Tirailleur Senegalese infantry as Egyptians of the period, these Turks would work as well.
